Little Fires Everywhere is a new Hulu series from showrunner Liz Tigelaar (Casual) based on Celeste Ng’s 2017 bestseller. The series follows the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives. The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood – and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster.
Starring Reese Witherspoon (Wild) as Elena Richardson, Kerry Washington (Scandal) as Mia Warren, Joshua Jackson (Fringe) as Bill Richardson, Rosemarie DeWitt (Rachel Getting Married) as Linda McCullough, Jade Pettyjohn (Destroyer) as Lexie Richardson, Jordan Elsass as Trip Richardson, Gavin Lewis as Moody Richardson, Megan Stott as Izzy Richardson, Lexi Underwood as Pearl Warren, and Huang Lu as Bebe.
There will also be a flashback episode with a younger cast, which includes AnnaSophia Robb (The Carrie Diaries) as Young Elena, Tiffany Boone (Hunters) as Young Mia, Alona Tal (Supernatural) as Young Linda, Matthew Barnes (Strange Angel) as Young Bill, Andy Favreau (Champions) as Young Mark, and Luke Bracey (The Best of Me) as Jamie Caplan, Elena’s college boyfriend.
The series is produced by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, Kerry Washington’s Simpson Street and ABC Signature Studios, a part of Disney Television Studios. Liz Tigelaar (Life Unexpected, Casual) will serve as creator, showrunner and executive producer. The series is also executive produced by Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Lauren Levy Neustadter, Pilar Savone and Lynn Shelton. Author Celeste Ng serves as producer.
Little Fires Everywhere premieres March 18th on Hulu with eight episodes.
