Abigail Spencer, from Timeless and Suits, stars in Hulu’s new series Reprisal as femme fatale in a hyper-noir story.
Created by executive producer and showrunner Josh Corbin (StartUp), Reprisal is a hyper-noir story that follows a femme fatale, Doris Quinn, who, after being left for dead, relentlessly sets out to seek revenge against her brother and his bombastic gang of gearheads. The thriller promises to examine “the intricacies of family – both the one you’re born with, and the one you make along the way.”
At the TCA’s in July, Abigail Spencer (Timeless, Suits) spoke about playing Doris: “I feel like Doris is kind of harnessing all of the energy of the planet of feminist rage and bringing that forward,” she said. “I feel so honoured to be a container for that.”
The series will ‘blur’ the lines of good and evil, and showrunner and executive producer Josh Corbin hopes viewers will question the series: “I think the difference between good and evil is a blurred line. I want the audience to ask themselves, ‘I don’t know how I feel about that’.”

Reprisal premieres December 6th on Hulu with 10 episodes.
