Get ready for some laughs with ABC’s new comedy, Bless This Mess, which stars Lake Bell and Dax Shepard.
The new single-camera comedy Bless This Mess follows newlyweds Rio (Lake Bell) and Mike (Dax Shepard) as they make the decision to move from big city New York to rural Nebraska. After dropping everything (including their jobs and overbearing mother-in-law) to make the move from skyscrapers to farmhouses, they soon realize that the simpler life isn’t as easy as they planned. Rio and Mike must now learn how to weather the storm as they are faced with unexpected challenges in their new life as farmers.
The series is from 20th Century Fox Television and ABC Studios. Lake Bell and Elizabeth Meriwether are co-creators and executive producers. Jake Kasdan, Melvin Mar, Erin O’Malley, Katherine Pope and Dax Shepard serve as executive producers.
The series stars Lake Bell (No Strings Attached) as Rio, Dax Shepard (Parenthood) as Mike, Ed Begley Jr. (Whatever Works) as Rudy, Pam Grier (The L Word) as Constance, and JT Neal (Sierra Burgess Is A Loser) as Jacob.
Bless This Mess premieres April 16th at 9:30/8.30c on ABC.
