March 2020 Movie Releases

The month of March is here and it brings some new movies to both our theatres and streaming services! The live-action remake of Mulan is certainly the most anticipated with A Quiet Place Part II hot on its heels. As for what else is heading our way, there’s the controversial movie The Hunt, the adaptation of Bloodshot, and Riverdale‘s KJ Apa stars in I Still Believe.

Onward

Set in a suburban fantasy world, two teenage elf brothers embark on a quest to discover if there is still magic out there. Featuring the voices of Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming) and Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy).

Mulan

A live-action feature film based on Disney’s ‘Mulan’ follows a young Chinese maiden disguises herself as a male warrior in order to save her father. Starring Yifei Liu, Li Gong, and Jet Li.

A Quiet Place Part II

Following the events at home, the Abbott family now face the terrors of the outside world. Forced to venture into the unknown, they realise the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats lurking beyond the sand path. Starring Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders).

I Still Believe

The true-life story of Christian music star Jeremy Camp and his journey of love and loss that looks to prove there is always hope. Starring KJ Apa (Riverdale) and Britt Robertson (Tomorrowland).

Bloodshot

Based on the bestselling comic book, Ray Garrison is a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation. With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force –stronger than ever and able to heal instantly. But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too. Now, Ray doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not – but he’s on a mission to find out. Starring Vin Diesel (The Fast and the Furious), Sam Heughan (Outlander), and Eiza González (Baby Driver).

Stargirl

Stargirl from Disney+ is a tender and offbeat coming-of-age story based on the critically-acclaimed, New York Times’ best-selling young adult novel about an unassuming high schooler who finds himself inexplicably drawn to the free-spirited new girl, whose unconventional ways change how they see themselves…and their world. Starring Grace VanderWaal, Graham Verchere (The Good Doctor), and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad).

Spenser Confidential

When two Boston police officers are murdered, ex-cop Spenser teams up with his no-nonsense roommate, Hawk, to take down criminals. Starring Mark Wahlberg (Ted) and Winston Duke (Black Panther).

The Hunt

Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don’t know where they are, or how they got there. They don’t know they’ve been chosen – for a very specific purpose – The Hunt. Starring Betty Gilpin (GLOW), Emma Roberts (We’re The Millers), Justin Hartley (This Is Us), and Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby).

My Spy

A hardened CIA operative finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl, having been sent undercover to surveil her family. Starring Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chloe Coleman (Big Little Lies), and Ken Jeong (Community).

Finding The Way Back

A former HS basketball phenom, struggling with alcoholism, is offered a coaching job at his alma mater. As the team starts to win, he may have a reason to confront his old demons. But will it be enough to set him on the road to redemption? Starring Ben Affleck (Gone Girl) and Janina Gavankar (True Blood).
