2017 is bringing many movie adaptions based on books you may have read once, if not twice! Here are four popular young adult books, which have been adapted into films and will be making their way to theatres over the next few months!

Based on the 2010 novel by Lauren Oliver, Before I Fall is about a girl named Sam, played by Zoey Deutch (Vampire Academy & Why Him?), who had the perfect life until she dies. Sam then has to relive the last day of her life over and over again. She begins to find out some certain things about her friends and family while reliving that same, fateful day.

Novel by Nicola Yoon, written by J. Mills Goodloe and directed by Stella Meghie.
Everything Everything follows Madeline (played by Amandla Stenberg, The Hunger Games) who is allergic to just about everything. After a freak accident involving the death of her father and brother, she becomes home-bound and her mother takes care of her along with her nurse. Love soon sparks between Madeline and Olly, the new boy next door.

Wonder is an incredibly popular book loved by many and follows Auggie (played by Jacob Tremblay, Room), a boy born with a facial deformity. After numerous surgeries and being home-schooled, his parents enrol him in middle school. With the help of his parents (Owen Wilson and Julia Roberts), he tries to fit in and teach kids that beauty isn’t just on the outside. Stephen Chobsky, the brilliant man who wrote and directed The Perks of Being a Wallflower, will be directing the film.
Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie | June 2, 2017

Captain Underpants was one of those kid series that many grew up reading. The story follows a man (voiced by Ed Helms, The Hangover) who saves the town by just wearing his underpants. The film also stars the voices of Kevin Hart and Jordan Peele. With only one still released so far, the trailer will most likely be out in the next few months.
