Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett | Goodreads

Technically, Alex and Bailey first meet online and although they don’t know each other in person, they have great chemistry. When they meet in real life though… Their first meeting involves Bailey’s dad trying to hit Alex and his friend, and the following one sees Alex successfully teasing Bailey until she almost cries thus solidifying their status as archnemeses.

In this novel, we see a couple (I won’t say exactly who, but it definitely involves our cross-dressing main character Jordan) meet when Jordan is appearing as her male alter-ego, Julian. You can bet things get very awkward when the other person discovers her true identity, but it could make for an interesting story to look back on.

The Wrath and The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh | Goodreads

This couple, however, is the worst of them all. Our main couple Khalid and Shazi meet because Khalid kills one girl each dawn, and the last one happens to be Shazi’s best friend. When Shazi volunteers herself as the next girl in line for his revenge/suicide mission, Khalid actually tries to kill her. This one might not make for a good story in the future though.

In the often dreaded love triangle, these boys meet Juliette in a unique situation of their own. Juliette meets Adam when she’s in an asylum and since it’s been such a long time since Juliette has had human contact, she instantly connects with him. As for the other side of our love triangle, when she meets Warner when she is brought to The Reestablishment and forced to torture another human being.
