THE BEARD IS BACK. Chris Evans sports a beard once more in Netflix’s new original movie, The Red Sea Diving Resort.
Inspired by remarkable true life rescue missions, The Red Sea Diving Resort is the incredible story of a group of international agents and brave Ethiopians who in the early 80s used a deserted holiday retreat in Sudan as a front to smuggle thousands of refugees to Israel. The undercover team carrying out this mission is led by the charismatic Ari Kidron (Chris Evans) and courageous local Kabede Bimro (Michael Kenneth Williams).
Gideon Raff’s screenplay is based on Gad Shimro’s book, Mossad Exodus. Shimro was one of the Mossad agents who consulted to rescue Ethiopian Jews who were facing genocide in the 1980’s.
Starring Chris Evans (Captain America), Michael Kenneth Williams (The Wire), Haley Bennett (The Magnificent Seven), Alessandro Nivola (Jurassic Park III), Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones), Chris Chalk (When They See Us), Greg Kinnear (Little Miss Sunshine), and Ben Kingsley (Gandhi).
Red Sea Diving Resort hits Netflix on July 31st.
