In the new #OwnVoices novel Salty, Bitter, Sweet by Mayra Cuevas, the main character Isa is a passionate cook because in her opinion “happiness, like love, arrives through the kitchen”.
Her absolute favourite dishes to make are her Flan and her grandmother’s famous apple pie. Mayra Cuevas has shared both recipes with us and we would like to invite you to recreate Isa’s well loved creations at home.
