With only a few months until the premiere of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Sony has released a new poster and third trailer for the film.
In the new trailer, the young Spider-Man played by Tom Holland prevents some serious crime: grand theft bicycle and helping an old lady where he receives a churro in return. We also see more of the Stark tech that has been integrated into the Spidey suit, and boy does it look interesting.
Other highlights include more interaction between Spider-Man and Vulture, a snippet of Donald Glover’s unnamed character speaking and Peter’s best friend Ned checking out the Spidey suit which apparently has restrictions due to Stark putting a ‘training wheels’ protocol on some of its features.
The film stars Tom Holland (Captain America: Civil War), Zendaya, Marisa Tomei (Empire), Michael Keaton (Batman) and Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man). Spider-Man: Homecoming premieres early July.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
