I mean to be honest, do you know how many times they’ve survived when they easily could’ve died? I kind of knew this was going to happen but to be fair they all should be dead by now. if you look back at the second series book 4 i mean percy and annabeth they should’ve died, hazel and leo should’ve died and the others could live.

Who is we? I love Apollo more than any previous Rick Riordan character. I even stopped reading The Heroes of Olympus series because I didn’t connect with any of the characters.

I’m not telling you this to undermine your feelings and opinions, but to remind you that other people are not you. You are allowed not to care about Apollo. But you look egocentric and dismissive of others when you assume only your opinion matters. Hey, wait. Apollo was like you at the start of the series. Maybe that’s why you don’t like him…..

The paradox is that we don’t really care about Apollo. Having Jason die so that Apollo can learn from it or feel something is creepy at best. I stopped reading the series after he killed Jason. That was the end of the story for me.

Most of the reason I stopped reading was because it became too focused on the other characters rather than Percy. The first series sets it up perfectly, and the last book of the last series doesn’t have percy perspective at all. Jason was a good character, but you could foreshadow his death because he was on par with Percy being the strongest mortal demigod. Hopefully this means the return of Percy and his adventures in the next series.
