Inspired by the best-selling book The Bone Collector by Jeffery Deaver, former NYPD detective and forensic genius Lincoln Rhyme was at the top of his game until a serious accident at the hands of a notorious serial killer forced him out of the field.

When Amelia Sachs, an intuitive young officer who’s got her own gift for profiling finds herself hot on the killer’s trail, Rhyme in turn finds a partner for this new game of cat and mouse. As the unlikely detective duo joins forces to crack the city’s most confounding cases, they must also race to take down the enigmatic Bone Collector who brought them together.

Jeffery Deaver’s The Bone Collector first published in 1997 and it is the first novel in his Lincoln Rhyme series, which contains 14 books in total. The novel has previously been adapted into a film in 1999, which starred Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie.

The series stars star Russell Hornsby (Grimm) as Lincoln Rhyme, Arielle Kebbel (Ballers) as Amelia Sachs, Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) as Rick Sellitto, Courtney Grosbeck (The Bold and the Beautiful) as Rae Sachs, Ramses Jimenez (Fear The Walking Dead) as Eric Ortiz, Brooke Lyons (The Affair) as Kate, Tate Ellington (Remember Me) as Felix, Jaidon Walls as Camden, and Claire Coffee (Grimm) as Danielle.

Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt For The Bone Collector premieres January 10th on NBC.

Garrett Modi (Kal Penn) was living the American Dream. As the youngest New York City Councilman ever, he was rubbing elbows with the political elite, attending star-studded parties and was the pride of Queens. But instead of spending his time in office helping the people that got him elected, he lost his way amidst the power and glamour of politics.

When his downward spiral got him busted for public intoxication (and downright stupidity), it was all caught on tape and ended his career. Now, Garrett’s crashing with his sister Mallory and wondering where it all went wrong. That is, until he’s hired by a diverse group of idealists who dream of becoming American citizens and believe he can help – giving him a new sense of purpose and a chance for redemption, as long as he remembers where he came from.

Starring Kal Penn (Designated Survivor), Diana-Maria Riva (Dead To Me), Joel Kim Booster, Kiran Deol (How To Get Away With Murder), Poppy Liu (Mercy Mistress), Moses Storm (Arrested Development), and Samba Schutte (The Tiger Hunter).

Sunnyside premieres September 26th 9.30/8.30c on NBC.

From the creator of The Good Place comes Abby’s, a hilarious new NBC comedy about the best neighbourhood bar in San Diego – home to low prices, good company and, of course, Abby (Natalie Morales).

This unlicensed, makeshift establishment in Abby’s backyard is the perfect gathering place for locals to find camaraderie and sanctuary. To maintain the perfect bar ecosystem, all patrons must abide by a specific set of rules. This includes no cell phones (not even to look something up), understanding that rising through the hierarchy to earn a seat at the bar takes time and knowing that losing a challenge may have some unpleasant and unpalatable drink-related repercussions.

As a bar owner, Abby has found her true calling hosting friends and newcomers alike. No-nonsense Abby is ex-military, having served two tours as a staff sergeant in the Marines. Her world is shaken when new landlord Bill (Nelson Franklin), who recently inherited the house from his deceased aunt, unexpectedly shows up and cites all kinds of reasons why the whole venture is illegal. Newly divorced, he is a cautious worrier and definite non-risk-taker who eventually warms to the place and agrees to let the bar remain open, provided Abby makes some changes.

The cast of regulars also includes Fred (Neil Flynn), a fixture at the bar who is grateful for a place to enjoy a beer and conversation – and refuses to allow some bureaucratic busybody to disrupt his perfect refuge; Beth (Jessica Chaffin), a harried mother living next door who can escape the madness of her home life while still keeping an eye on things from her perch atop a bar stool; Rosie (Kimia Behpoornia), the bar manager who prides herself on having memorised all 162 rules and regulations; and James (Leonard Ouzts), the gentle scaredy-cat of a bouncer who crumbles in the face of confrontation.

As any regular patron of Abby’s will attest, hanging out there is a coveted honour. And once you’re in, you’re family.

In addition to executive producing, Josh Malmuth (New Girl) also serves as showrunner. Michael Schur (The Good Place) and David Miner (The Good Place) also executive produce. Pamela Fryman directed the pilot. Abby’s is shot completely outdoors in front of a live studio audience, the first time a multi-camera comedy has done so.

Starring Natalie Morales (Parks and Recreation), Neil Flynn (The Middle), Nelson Franklin (New Girl), Jessica Chaffin (Big Mouth), Leonard Ouzts (Set It Up), and Kimia Behpoornia (Unicorn Store).

The new series premieres March 28th at 9.30/8.30c on NBC.
