The Big Leap is a modern tale about second chances, chasing your dreams and taking back what’s yours. From creator/executive producer Liz Heldens (The Passage, Friday Night Lights), director/executive producer Jason Winer (Modern Family, Perfect Harmony) and executive producer Sue Naegle (Soundtrack, The Plot Against America), the show revolves around a group of diverse, down-on-their-luck characters attempting to change their lives by participating in a potentially life-ruining reality dance show featuring a modern reimagining of “Swan Lake.”

On the heels of his latest show failure and a stressful divorce, producer Nick Blackburn (Scott Foley, Scandal) reluctantly signs on to produce “The Big Leap,” a high-stakes docuseries filming in Motor City. The show, which brings together dancers from every age, background and body type, is the brainchild of former dancer Wayne Fontaine (Kevin Daniels, Twelfth Night, Modern Family). With choreographer Monica Sullivan (Mallory Jansen, Galavant) on board to help Nick mount the production, he begins his search for not only the best dancers, but also the ones that could stir up the most drama and buzz.

Gabby Lewis (newcomer Simone Recasner) once dreamt of becoming a professional dancer, but her dreams were sidelined when she got pregnant right out of high school. In the midst of the monotony that is her 9-to-5 office job, she stumbles upon an open casting call for “The Big Leap,” reigniting her passion for dance. Auditioning alongside Gabby is Justin Calgrove (Raymond Cham Jr., Five Points), Gabby’s former dance partner and high school boyfriend…that is, until he came out of the closet (to the surprise of no one, except Gabby).

Their fellow contestants include Reggie Sadler (Ser’Darius Blain, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), a professional football star on the brink of suspension and whom Nick believes could give the show the star power and controversy it needs to break through; Brittney Lovewell (Anna Grace Barlow, The Goldbergs), a born-and-bred hyper-competitive ballroom dancer whose partner is her twin brother; unemployed autoworker Mike Devries (Jon Rudnitsky, Catch-22), whose gradual unravelling recently led his wife to leave him; Paula Clark  (Piper Perabo, Covert Affairs, Coyote Ugly), a high-powered corporate executive; and former ballerina Julia Perkins (Teri Polo, Meet the Parents franchise), who relies on social media for the attention she craves from her family.

The Big Leap premieres September 20th at 9/8c.

It was expected of KAT (Bialik) to be married with kids by now, but for many reasons, she’s still single – and totally fine with it. Of course, Kat’s mother, SHEILA (Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee Swoosie Kurtz, Mike & Molly), views her daughter’s single-hood as her own personal failure, but Kat remains determined to live a fulfilling life, and charts her own course to happiness.

Working alongside Kat at the café are RANDI (Kyla Pratt, One on One), a confident millennial and self-proclaimed “non” cat person; and PHIL (Emmy Award winner Leslie Jordan, The Cool Kids), who recently broke up with his longtime partner. Although Kat celebrates her independence, her single-forever plans may begin to veer off-course, when her former crush and good friend, MAX (Cheyenne Jackson, American Horror Story), returns to town and takes a job as a bartender at the piano bar across the street, working with his friend, CARTER (Julian Gant, Good Girls).

Like most 15-year-olds, DUNCAN (Poehler) can see adulthood on the horizon: money, freedom, cars, girls…but the reality is more like: always being broke, driving with your mother sitting shotgun and babysitting your little sister. He’s not exceptional, but he has a wild imagination in which he’s never anything less than amazing.

Duncan’s mother, Annie (Poehler), a parking enforcement officer who dreams of someday being a detective, lives in perpetual fear that her teenage son is one bad decision away from ruining his life and will do anything to stop him from doing so. Duncan’s father, Jack (Emmy Award winner Ty Burrell, Modern Family), husband to Annie, is a classic-rock-obsessed plumber who’s determined to be a better dad than the one he had. He’s constantly posting wonderful things about his family on Facebook and annoyed that his kids won’t friend him.

Duncan’s 12-year-old sister, Kimberly (Riki Lindhome, Garfunkel and Oates: Trying to be Special), is awkward, emotional and can hold grudges forever, while waiting patiently for revenge. She’s all emotions all the time and nobody’s problems are bigger than hers.

Duncan confides in his friend and class clown, Bex (Betsy Sodaro, Another Period), so much so, he sometimes he even forgets she’s a girl. His stylish and swaggy friend, Yangzi (Yassir Lester, Making History), is proud to be a cool trend setter. Yangzi has learned that if he promotes companies on social media, they’ll always send him awesome free swag. Duncan’s next-door neighbour, Wolf (Zach Cherry, You), is a bit reckless, having very little parental supervision.

Guest voices in the series are Emmy nominee Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) as Mia, Duncan’s on-again, off-again crush, who never met a cause to which she wouldn’t dedicate her life; and Golden Globe nominee Wiz Khalifa (American Dad!) as Mr. Mitch, the universally loved teacher/guidance counsellor, and occasional gym coach and school nurse, due to budget cuts. Joy Osmanski (Santa Clarita Diet) voices Jing, Duncan’s six-year-old sister, who likes to shout “Watch me!” before executing the world’s slowest cartwheel.

Duncanville is produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Universal Television and FOX Entertainment. Mike Scully, Julie Scully and Amy Poehler co-created and executive produce the series with executive producer Dave Becky. The series is animated by Bento Box Entertainment (BOB’S BURGERS).

For most parents, parenting is hard. But for Cay (Maggie Lawson), a caustic, take-no-prisoners casino pit boss, and husband Mike (Jason Biggs), a handyman and uncultivated guy’s guy, parenting may as well be advanced calculus. Dealing with the demands and egos of three high-IQ children would be tricky for any parent, but it’s especially hazardous for two working stiffs who barely got through high school. Mike and Cay are committed to bringing some normalcy to their kids’ hectic, unconventional childhoods, but these geniuses don’t make it easy.

Leading the charge is Brian (Connor Kalopsis), a condescending and pretentious 16-year-old math whiz, who thinks he already knows more about the world than Mike and Cay ever will, even though he’s never actually been out of New Jersey. His 15-year-old sister, Nicole (Ashley Boettcher), is a deceptive and fiercely competitive language prodigy who can manipulate her parents into getting anything she wants. The youngest and most recently anointed child prodigy is Marc (Jack Stanton), a 10-year-old music savant. Introverted and idiosyncratic, he just wants everyone to leave him alone, so he can become the next Beethoven in peace.

The only child not driving their parents crazy is eight-year-old Leila (Oakley Bull), who is decidedly not a genius. In fact, she might be kind of dumb. She’s the only kid Mike and Cay even remotely understand.

OUTMATCHED takes an honest and heightened look at every parent’s worst fear – that they’re “ruining” their kids. When you have children with the type of gifts that can change the world, the pressure is really on. Raise them right, and these kids could cure cancer, stop global warming or invent time travel. But screw it up, and you could unleash three new super villains into the universe – good luck!

The series stars Maggie Lawson (Lethal Weapon), Jason Biggs (American Pie), Connor Kalopsis (The Grinder), Ashley Boettcher (Lost In Oz), Jack Stanton (The Mick), Oakley Bull (Beautiful Boy). Outmatched comes from writer/executive producer Lon Zimmet (LA to Vegas).

Nearly 20 years ago, Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) was the lone survivor of his Manhattan firehouse on 9/11. In the wake of the attack, Owen had the unenviable task of rebuilding his station. After a similar tragedy happens to a firehouse in Austin, Owen, along with his troubled firefighter son, T.K. (Ronen Rubenstein), takes his progressive philosophies of life and firefighting down to Texas, where he helps them start anew. On the surface, Owen is all about big-city style and swagger, but underneath he struggles with a secret he hides from the world – one that could very well end his life.

Once in Austin, Owen meets the brilliant and wry chief paramedic Michelle Watts (Liv Tyler), as well as police officer Carlos Reyes (Rafael Silva). He then begins to assemble his new team of diverse and qualified candidates for Firehouse 126, including Marjan Marwani (Natacha Karam), an adrenalin junkie and badass firefighter who also is a devout Muslim; PAUL STRICKLAND (Brian Michael Smith, “Queen Sugar”), a transgender male firefighter, who bravely decided to transition on the job in Chicago and has a gift for observation worthy of Sherlock Holmes; and rookie firefighter Mateo Chavez (Julian Works).

Owen’s toughest challenge may be Judd Ryder (Jim Paarack), who, like Owen, was the sole survivor of the original 126 house after a rescue call ended in tragedy. A gruff cowboy to his core, Judd is married to Grace (Sierra McClain), a 9-1-1 call center operator, and struggles with PTSD, unsure if he ever can be the firefighter he once was.

The series stars Rob Lowe (Parks and Recreation), Liv Tyler (The Leftovers), Sierra McClain (Empire), Jim Parrack (The Deuce), Natacha Karam (The Brave), Brian Michael Smith (Queen Sugar), Ronen Rubenstein (Dead of Summer), newcomer Rafael Silva, and Julian Works also star.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is one of the largest police forces in the world, but when the elected Sheriff dies, an arcane rule in the county charter, forged back in the Wild West, suddenly thrusts the most unlikely man into the job. That man is Bill Hollister (Stephen Dorff). A fifth-generation lawman, Bill is only interested in justice; his soul wears a white hat. The bad guys don’t stand a chance, but neither do the politicos in the Hall of Justice.

Under Bill’s command is a county-wide crew of LA’s finest, including Deputy Cade Ward (Brian Van Holt), a former Marine stationed in Afghanistan, eight years sober and one of Bill’s few confidantes; Deputy Rachel Delgado (Siena Goines), Walker’s partner, a meticulous officer who is knee-deep in a nasty divorce; Deputy Breanna Bishop (Bex Taylor-Klaus), the whip-smart, sarcastic driver in charge of Bill’s security detail; and Deputy Joseph Blair (Shane Paul McGhie), the son of Bill’s fallen partner.

The dangers associated with the job often lead the police to LA County General Hospital, where Bill buts heads with Dr. Paula Reyes (Yara Martinez), the hospital’s chief trauma surgeon – and his wife.

Given a job he never wanted, in an unfamiliar sea of politics, Bill quickly learns that doing what is expected and doing what is right are two different things, and that his innate, dogged pursuit of justice is the only skill the job truly requires.

Jenny’s doting, eternal optimist boyfriend of 10 years, Wayne Edwards, is the love of her life and a surrogate father to Violet. He’s a charming dreamer who may never hit the big time, but he’s not going to give up the fight. In the end, the Harts may not have much, but they may just have everything they need.

Malcolm Bright has a gift. He knows how killers think and how their minds work. Why? Back in the 1990s, his father was one of the worst, a notorious serial killer called “The Surgeon.” So it makes sense Bright is the best criminal psychologist around; murder is the family business. He will use his twisted genius to help the NYPD solve crimes and stop killers, all while dealing with a manipulative mother, annoyingly normal sister, a homicidal father still looking to bond with his prodigal son, and his own constantly evolving neuroses.

Meet the happy family. Dr. Martin Whitly is intelligent, wealthy, charismatic and also happens to be a predatory sociopath who killed at least 23 people. Bright’s mother, Jessica Whitly, an elegant and WASPy New Yorker, wields sarcasm like a samurai sword and has an opinion on every aspect of Bright’s life. Perhaps Bright’s only ally is his sister, Ainsley Whitly, a TV journalist who wishes her brother would “take a break from murder” and have a normal life.

Unfortunately for his sister, the only way Bright feels normal is by solving cases with the help of his longtime mentor, NYPD Detective Gil Arroyo. Arroyo’s one of the best detectives around, and he expects no less from his team – Detective Dani Powell, a headstrong no-nonsense cop who quickly becomes impressed with Bright’s work; and Detective JT Tarmel, a born-and-bred New Yorker who questions whether Bright is a psychopath himself.
