Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling starred in the groundbreaking teen drama that defined Southern California life. Now, they return to FOX, the network they called home for the entire decade of the 1990s, in an all-new event series the takes the concept of a series reboot to a whole new meta-level. When the cast gets back together, it will come with a big twist: the seven former teen idols will be playing heightened versions of themselves in the brand-new serialised drama – with a healthy dose of irreverence – that is inspired by their real lives and relationships with each other.

Having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, Jason, Shannen, Jennie, Ian, Gabrielle, Brian and Tori reunite when one of them suggests it’s time to get a Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot up and running. But getting it going may make for an even more delicious soap than the reboot itself. What will happen when first loves, old romances, friends and frenemies come back together, as this iconic cast – whom the whole world watched grow up together – attempts to continue from where they left off?

Spawning generations of imitators, Beverly Hills, 90210 premiered on FOX on October 4, 1990, when it became an instant pop culture sensation and one of the most adored programs in the network’s history. Centered on the tony Los Angeles community identified in its title, the show aired for 10 seasons, during which it documented the trials and tribulations of a group of friends from high school to college and into early adulthood, as they navigated a myriad of coming-of-age dramas and complex rivalries, often making real-world headlines by tackling controversial and socially relevant topics.

BH90210 will premiere Wednesday August 7th on FOX.

David Makes Man

David Makes Man centers on a 14-year-old prodigy from the projects who is haunted by the death of his closest friend and relied on by his hardworking mother to find a way out of poverty. He must choose between the streets that raised him or the higher education that may offer him a way out. Set in South Florida, the series is inspired by events in McCraney’s own life and explores childhood trauma and the power of imagination to survive. Starring Akili McDowell (The Astronaut Wives Club), Alana Arenas (Hall of Passes), and Isaiah Johnson (Hamilton). The series premieres August 14th on OWN.

Why Women Kill

Three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the ’60s, a socialite in the ’80s and a lawyer in 2018, deal with infidelity in their marriages. Starring Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon A Time), Kirby Howell-Baptiste (The Good Place), and Lucy Liu (Charlie’s Angels). The series premieres August 15th on CBS All Access.

The Righteous Gemstones

The Righteous Gemstones follows a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work. Starring Danny McBride (Pineapple Express), John Goodman (Roseanne), Edi Patterson (Vice Principals), and Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect). The series premieres August 18th on HBO.

A dark comedy series which follows Krystal Stubbs, a minimum-wage water park employee who lies, schemes and cons her way up the ranks of the cultish, multibillion-dollar pyramid scheme that drove her family to ruin in the first place. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

Returns to the world of Thra, where three Gelfling discover the horrifying secret behind the Skeksis’ power, and set out to ignite the fires of rebellion and save their world. Featuring the voices of Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians), Helena Bonham Carter (Harry Potter), Taron Egerton (Rocketman), Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones), Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones), and Mark Hamill (Star Wars). The series premieres August 30th on Netflix.

A Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatures. Feared by humans, they are forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom. Starring Orlando Bloom (The Lord of The Rings), Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad), Tamzin Merchant (Salem), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), and David Gyasi (Interstellar). The series premieres August 30th on Amazon Prime Video.
