“It’s not like it was before,” says police Chief Jim Hopper. “It’s grown.”

Netflix has released the final trailer for the second season of Stranger Things and it’s filled with plenty of clues.

While season one saw the cast trying to access the mysterious world of The Upside Down, season two seems to suggest The Upside Down is coming to Hawkins. This season will be set in 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

In the new trailer, Eleven is back and living with Terry Ives, her biological mother. Meanwhile, the residents of Hawkins are preparing themselves for yet another fight, but this time they are better equipped with knowledge and weapons. We see the younger kids joining up with the older teens along with the once naive adults, plus a few new faces including Sadie Sink’s Max, Dacre Montgomery’s Billy, and Sean Astin’s Bob.

Starring Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Cara Buono, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, Sadie Sink, Sean Astin, and Paul Reiser.

Stranger Things Season 2 premieres globally October 27th on Netflix with 9 episodes available for you to binge that weekend.
