I have seen several lists like this and not one has listed “The Eyes of Darkness” by Dean Koontz. A few cosmetic changes such as communicating with lights instead of writing on a white board. Sheriff instead of PI. I just started watching and I swore I was watching an adaptation of TEOD with some artistic/cosmetic changes. I personally think some acknowledgment is due.
