The OCD / ‘me, me, mine’ / vanity about eyeglasses / greed re: sweets — all truly annoying. I love the history, but the bad guys are obvious upon arrival (e.g., the Longo brothers), and book 6 could have at least wrapped up the cold case murder. The brother-in-law did it.
