While the first book did take a while to get into, I found it to be well worth the effort. This second book was awful. Pointless running back and forth with little interesting payoff for 750 pages. I found every sex scene super cringe and I loved court of silver flames. There isn’t much I liked about this book.

Going by how I couldn’t even bring myself to finish the first train wreck of a book. There is no way I am picking up the second book, from yet another series with a female lead who is an over powered, underwhelming Mary Sue. Bryce is probably one of least likeable characters I have ever run across, and she is the main character.

It was such a surprise for me I literally squealing and for a while 10 mins I was high on the joy I felt that SHE DID IT ALL OVER AGAIN. SJM always always always surpasses all my hopes.
