I’d like to point out one thing. The women in this book are treated as throw aways. Every woman in this entire book exists solely to help a man. No woman has any other purpose in this novel. It is by far the most sexist ya book I’ve come across. It’s a disgrace. I love that there is more gay and queer representation (finally!!!) but that should never come by casting women to the shadows. Women haven’t ever and never will exist solely to serve men. In life or fiction.
