New To TV: Lincoln Rhyme

Lincoln Rhyme NBC TV Series 2020

Every year brings more crime series, but NBC’s Lincoln Rhyme might be one that you will want to give a chance rather than flicking over to another channel.

Inspired by the best-selling book The Bone Collector by Jeffery Deaver, former NYPD detective and forensic genius Lincoln Rhyme was at the top of his game until a serious accident at the hands of a notorious serial killer forced him out of the field.

When Amelia Sachs, an intuitive young officer who’s got her own gift for profiling finds herself hot on the killer’s trail, Rhyme in turn finds a partner for this new game of cat and mouse. As the unlikely detective duo joins forces to crack the city’s most confounding cases, they must also race to take down the enigmatic Bone Collector who brought them together.

Jeffery Deaver’s The Bone Collector first published in 1997 and it is the first novel in his Lincoln Rhyme series, which contains 14 books in total. The novel has previously been adapted into a film in 1999, which starred Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie.

The series stars star Russell Hornsby (Grimm) as Lincoln Rhyme, Arielle Kebbel (Ballers) as Amelia Sachs, Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) as Rick Sellitto, Courtney Grosbeck (The Bold and the Beautiful) as Rae Sachs, Ramses Jimenez (Fear The Walking Dead) as Eric Ortiz, Brooke Lyons (The Affair) as Kate, Tate Ellington (Remember Me) as Felix, Jaidon Walls as Camden, and Claire Coffee (Grimm) as Danielle.

Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt For The Bone Collector premieres January 10th on NBC.
