Friendship is priceless. Everything else you can steal. Netflix adds another teen-oriented series to their streaming service with Trinkets, which follows three female shoplifters.
Based on the young adult novel of the same name by Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith, who also serves as executive producer, Trinkets follows three teenage girls from different corners of the high school cafeteria. The trio soon find themselves in the same mandated Shoplifter’s Anonymous meeting and thus an unlikely friendship forms. Elodie (Brianna Hildebrand) — the grieving misfit, Moe (Kiana Madeira) — the mysterious outsider, and Tabitha (Quintessa Swindell) — the imperfect picture of perfection, will find strength in each other as they negotiate family issues, high school drama and the complicated dilemma of trying to fit in while longing to break out.
Starring Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool), Kiana Madeira (The Flash), Quintessa Swindell, Odiseas Georgiadis (The Perfect Date), Brandon Butler (13 Reasons Why), Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why), and Jessica Lynn Skinner (American Vandal).
Trinkets hits Netflix internationally on June 14th with 10 episodes.
