We all have our own soundtracks. Soundtrack is a romantic musical drama that looks at the love stories connecting a diverse, disparate group of people in contemporary Los Angeles through the music that lives inside their hearts and minds.
The new Netflix series comes from Smash season-two showrunner and Gossip Girl writer Joshua Safran, and each episode will follow a love story. Within the series, it will feature music from the likes of Etta James, Lauryn Hill, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Dolly Parton, the Weeknd, and Bruno Mars.
The series stars Jenna Dewan (Step Up), Callie Hernandez (Graves), Paul James (The Path), Megan Ferguson (Easy), Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Blindspot), Madeleine Stowe (Revenge), and Jahmil French (Degrassi: The Next Generation).
Soundtrack hits Netflix on December 18th with 10 episodes.
