Meet The Royal Family In ‘Marvel’s Inhumans’ Trailer

At long last, Marvel’s Inhumans debuted its first trailer today!

The series follows a race of hybrid alien-human superbeings who’ve undergone a transformative “terrigenesis,” a process that unlocks sometimes strange, but uniquely powerful gifts. Set on both Earth and their technologically advanced city Attilan, the series centers on the Royal Family as they face many challenges.

But will these so-called challenges produce a show that is worth watching? The trailer doesn’t seem all that exciting and is it even a show viewers will be interested in? With Agents of Shield (somehow) still going, along with a host of superhero shows on Netflix and countless big-screen productions, do we really need more Marvel? Time, and ratings, will tell.

Starring Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones), Ken Leung (The Night Shift), Serinda Swan (Graceland), Eme Ikwuakor (Extant), Isabelle Cornish (Puberty Blues) and Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels).

Executive produced by Scott Buck (Dexter, Marvel’s Iron Fist) along with Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones), with Buck serving as showrunner. Roel Reine (Admiral, Black Sails) will direct the first two episodes. The series is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.

Marvel’s Inhumans will debut at IMAX on September 1st and will then premiere with a double-episode September 29th on ABC.
