Kind of shocking, and dark; unique, original, creative; extremely entertaining, well-written and satisfying once completed. So, it’s an easy, enjoyable read. At the beginning, however, I was sort of creeped out, but couldn’t put it down and once finished, I felt great. I cannot wait for author’s next book.

Yup. Fonda Lee is one of my very favorite contemporary writers. Might have skipped the Breath of the Dragon, as, alas, I am am no longer close to being a young adult. But with her assessment that it will be enjoyable by non-YA’s, I’m looking toward to it.

Legal fiction and murder books are two a penny, but this is worth much more…you just don’t find them so well written, so knowledgeable, and so full of interesting little details which are actually true. I was recommended to this book by a friend who is a medical Lord(and no mean writer himself) it is a delight, and brilliant..to end it with a two page foretaste of your next book…already ordered from the big A.
