I LOVE THESE COVERS!!! They remind me of the Vietnamese covers, which might’ve been the best covers of any of them. The character designs are perfect! They even got Tobias’s dirty blonde hair right. And I love the action morphing sequences. So cool! They will make the perfect addition to my collection. Shut up and take my money #Scholastic and bring back the graphic novels too while you’re at it lol.

I desperately hope these will keep the original text and not be the ‘updated’ versions ! (Well, I suppose if they fix the KASU in Book 1 where Jake thought-speaks outside of morph that would be alright.) Looking forward to seeing how this artist draws the rest of the Animorphs, since up until now the most beautiful book covers have been the Vietnamese versions, and Cassie got lightwashed for Book 4.

If the reprint keeps the original text I will definitely buy and collect them!! (As well as buy copies for my nephews)
If it’s the ‘updated’ text from the 2011 reprint though, I will most likely pass on the opportunity. Small continuity fixes are fine, but updating cultural references to the 90’s would be a shame – Animorphs is a period piece – it reflects the time it was made in. I wasn’t alive in the nineties and first read the books in 2017, but I thoroughly enjoyed them and loved those references that transported me to a different time.

I will absolutely buy the entire series for the second time in my life. Animorphs remain relevant to this day.
