There’s an exciting debut from Somaiya Daud, whose young adult novel will be an immediate addition to many fans of the genre. For fantasy fans, there’s Sara Raasch’s These Rebel Waves, while Robert Jackson Bennett’s Foundryside features a thief, a secret war, and a city that runs on industrialised magic. However, if you’re after a new thriller, definitely pick up Hank Phillippi Ryan’s Trust Me or Karin Slaughter’s Pieces of Her.
