Ryan Murphy adds another drama to his credits with the new FOX series 9-1-1, which follows various first responders facing extreme situations in attempt to save others while also living their own lives.

The pilot is created, written and executive-produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Tim Minear is an executive producer and will serve as showrunner. Brad Buecker will direct the series premiere episode and serve as an executive producer on the series.
The series stars Angela Bassett (American Horror Story), Peter Krause (The Catch), Connie Britton (Nashville), Kenneth Choi (American Crime Story), Oliver Stark (Into The Badlands), Aisha Hinds (Under The Dome), and Rockmond Dunbar (Prison Break).
9-1-1 starts off its 13-episode season January 3rd on FOX at 9/8c.
